As a homeschooling family ourselves, it is an honor to support homeschooling families in the Acadiana area in their pursuit of a Christ-centered education for their children. We have two ministries started by members of Foundations Church directed toward supporting homeschool families.

The Heartened Homeschool Mama exists to encourage Christian homeschooling moms. It was founded by our pastor’s wife and Women’s ministry director, Megan Bowen, whose passion is all about the mother. She hosts kid-free Mom’s Night Outs to offer opportunities of fun, fellowship, and equipping for the homeschool mom. This group also does occasional all-family events to further build community. Happy Little Trees Art desires to connect with kids, build relationships and lead them to Jesus through the arts. Their mission statement is “sharing Jesus through the arts.” It was founded by longtime church member Michelle Flott. This group offers seasonal art clubs, summer camps, birthday parties, and other events. Michelle’s vision is to purchase a mobile art vehicle in order to go into the community and do outreach art projects.
